WEMA Lodging

The F-4 and F-5 Lodging Facilities consist of 72 full-size, non-smoking, single occupancy guest rooms.

Each room provides:

WEMA Lodging Guest Room
  • A private bath, with a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and soap.
  • Individual climate controls.
  • Ethernet data port.
  • Television.
  • Coffee maker.
  • Iron and ironing board.
  • Alarm clock.
  • Telephone for local and calling card calls.

Other amenities include:

WEMA Lodging Lobby
  • 42" plasma televisions in the lobbies with DVD player, VCR, satellite television, and an assortment of movies.
  • Small kitchen and dining areas with full-size refrigerator, microwave, stove and oven (building F-4 only), dishwasher, dishes, and utensils.
  • Ice machines.
  • Free laundry facilities.
  • Custodial service every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Handicapped-accessible rooms available with advance notice.

Internet and Email Access

The buildings have high-speed internet access via hard-lines or wireless, as well as dial-up access. Visitors that plan to bring laptop computers can request access to the high-speed network upon their arrival via their point of contact person, or they may bring a local dial-up access number from their home center. Visitors with NASA VPN accounts do not need to request access.

Front Desk

A full-time Lodging Assistant is located in Building F-5's lobby area. The Front Desk hours of operation are: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM. The current cost of lodging is $59.00 per night for business travelers, training, and mission support; $25.00 per night for undergraduate interns. Our preferred method of payment is by Visa, MC, or Discover. We also accept cash or check, however, all reservations must provide payment information in the form of an accepted credit card at least 48 hours prior to arrival in order to be confirmed.

Effective May 1, 2021, the nightly rate will increase to $79.00 for business travelers, training, and mission support; $30.00 for undergraduate and graduate interns staying a minimum of six weeks.

To report problems in the buildings (i.e. electric, heating, A/C, plumbing, etc.), contact the Front Desk at:

For occupants who plan to arrive after 4 PM, check-in packages are left at the Wallops Flight Facility Main Gate, Building N-127, or with the guard on duty at the main entrance check point.

Check-in time is 2 PM; check-out time is 11 AM. If other arrangements are necessary, please contact the front desk.

Due to security policy, no persons requiring an escort may utilize the lodging facility. A proper badge and non-escort status are necessary for overnight stays.

Exchange Services

The Wallops Exchange and Morale Association (WEMA) provides on-site meal services in the cafeteria Monday – Friday; breakfast is served 7 AM – 9 AM and lunch is served 11 AM – 1 PM. Catered group dinners are also offered; please contact Karen Thornes at 757-824-2040 for pricing and menu options.

The Rocket Club in Building F-3 is open for entertainment Monday – Friday from 4:30 PM until.

The Exchange gift shop is open Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 4 PM.

Cancellations

There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. All reservations cancelled less than 24 hours prior to arrival will be charged for one night.
