RockSat-X student teams46.005 UO Terrier-Improved Malemute was launched from Wallops Island, VA on August 13, 2013. This mission is the 3rd in the series of RockSat-X payloads which provide expanded flight opportunities for University students. The payload provides students from several schools an opportunity to fly an experiment of their choosing and be exposed to the space environment. The mission also served as a testbed for technologies under development by NASA.The Principal Investigator was Mr. Christopher Koehler/Colorado Space Grant Consortium.
