41.080 NR Terrier-Improved Orion was launched from NASA Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, VA on May 28, 2009. The purpose of this mission is to study the Ames Research Center deployable SCRAMP design and investigate super/hypersonic decelerator concepts. The mission also tests Systima Technologies' restraint and dispense system. Marcus Murbach/NASA Ames Research Center is the Principal Investigator.
