The Black Brant XI is a three-stage, solid fuel sounding rocket consisting of a Talos 1st stage, Taurus 2nd stage, and Black Brant 3rd stage. This vehicle is capable of taking a 500 lb payload to an approximate altitude of 700 km, or a 1,300 lb payload to approximately 250 km.
