Symposium Goals

This Sounding Rocket Symposium brings together scientists, engineers, and technologists both currently working on sounding
rockets, as well as those eager to get involved, particularly students and early career professionals. Participants will:

• Be thrilled by presentations from scientists on the new science, observations, and capabilities that sounding rocket research platforms enable.
• Learn of the latest updates on new sub-systems (telemetry, pointing, vehicles, ground station, launch ranges, etc.) as well as science payload advancements (detectors, mirrors, techniques, booms, deployables, etc.).
• Actively collaborate in an in-person setting or participate virtually in oral presentation sessions to maximize the capabilities and science return from future collaborations
