The Advanced Projects Office is the primary interface for prospective organizations interested in conducting
projects or using the products and services provided by NASA/Wallops Flight Facility. In this capacity, we:
- Address questions concerning capabilities and feasibility of a potential activity
- Provide guidance concerning steps necessary to pursue activities
- Facilitate administrative processes necessary for conducting activities at Wallops
Additionally, the Office leads and/or participates in:
- Proactively seeking out potential business opportunities
- Developing materials used to promote Wallops capabilities
- Establishing and improving business practices
- Soliciting customer feedback and addressing issues or concerns
- Maintaining knowledge of government and industry activities that influence Wallops
- Managing commercial project relationships
- Providing policy guidance to Wallops senior management and supporting organizations
- Providing Wallops project and facility strategic planning
- Addressing issues that cross NASA/Wallops organizational boundaries
- Representing Wallops to a wide variety of external organizations
