NASA Wallops Flight Facility
The Inaugural GSFC-LaRC-WFF UAS Symposium!
We would like to invite you to the inaugural Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) – Langley Research Center (LaRC) – Wallops Flight Facility (WFF) UAS Symposium, to be held at Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia on October 16, 2024.
The symposium provides a common venue where researchers, platform providers, and NASA scientists can come together share ideas, discuss technical ideas with engineers, and discuss operations with Langley Research Center (LaRC) platform providers and WFF facility managers.
Symposium Goals
This UAS Symposium brings together scientists, engineers, and technologists both currently working on UAS, as well as those eager to get involved, particularly students and early career professionals. Participants will:
- Discover the latest and increasing LaRC UAS capabilities to support science.
- Learn of the latest updates on new UAS sub-systems (payload bays, power thermal, pointing, altitude, duration, etc.).
- Discover the latest and increasing KWAL Airfield Facility capabilities and support UAS operations and science.
- Actively collaborate in an in-person setting or participate virtually in oral presentation sessions to maximize the capabilities and science return from future collaborations.
