21.139 UE Black Brant V and 36.242 UE Terrier-Black Brant were launched from Poker Flat, Alaska on January 29, 2009. The purpose of these missions is to study electric fields and current structure within an aurora. Dr. Scott Bounds/University of Iowa is the Principal Investigator.
