GT Black Brant XI (MK1) was successfully launched on September 23, 2006
from Wallops Island, Virginia. The purpose of this mission is to flight
qualify the modified Black Brant MK1 igniter in a high altitude dynamic
flight environment. The princpal investigator for this mission is Mr.
John C. Hickman of NASA/Wallops Flight Facility.
