Cosmic Infrared Background Experiment

Bock payload team with the payload.40.030 UG Black Brant XII was launched from Wallops Island, VA on June 5, 2013. The purpose of this mission is to investigate the spectral and spatial properties of the extragalactic near-infrared background, and will require acquisition of multiple targets with minimal contamination from terrestrial sources of infrared emission. Dr. Jamie Bock/Caltech is the Principal Investigator.
