40.026 UE Black Brant XII was launched from Andoya Rocket Range, Norway on December 12, 2010. The purpose of the Rocket Experiment for Neutral Upwelling (RENU) mission is to investigate netural upwelling in the cusp. The payload included instruments to measure neutral gas, electric and magnetic fields, and precipitating particles.The Principal Investigator is Dr. Marc Lessard/University of New Hampshire.
