WFF Institutional Safety and Mission Assurance Overview

Institutional Safety and Mission Assurance plans, develops, and implements facility programs and controls for the safety of personnel, protection of property, and reliable operations of facilities.

The WFF facilities include a wide range of fabrication shops, rocket motor storage and process facilities, materials testing apparatus, tracking and telemetry capabilities, laboratory operations, and launch range operations.

Mission

The mission of WFF Institutional Safety and Mission Assurance is to plan, develop, and implement facility programs and controls to ensure the safety of the workforce, property, and reliable operations of facilities.

Goal

The goal of Institutional Safety and Mission Assurance is to promote occupational safety, explosives safety, fire safety, etc., and to implement policy and procedures needed to maximize safety.
